SayBright Privacy Policy

SayBright is a daily affirmations app made by Graysmith Labs LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, and your affirmations, recordings and streak stay on your phone.

What stays on your device

Your favorites, streak, preferences, daily usage counts and the affirmations you write are stored only on your device. We do not run servers that receive this data, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Voice recordings

SayBright uses the microphone only when you tap the record button, so you can save an affirmation in your own voice. Recordings are stored on your device and are never uploaded.

Reminders

Daily reminders and the free trial reminder are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are never sent through our servers.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple, and we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts and basic device information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time. Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers, when you allow it, and usage data to serve ads. Premium subscribers see no ads. You can read the Google privacy policy.

Tracking permission

SayBright asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before AdMob may use device identifiers for tracking. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized. You can change this at any time in the Settings app under Privacy and Security, then Tracking.

Usage analytics

Starting with a future version, SayBright may send a small number of anonymous usage events, such as finishing onboarding, viewing or saving an affirmation, turning on a reminder, opening the Premium screen and starting a trial, so we can tell which parts of the app help people. These events carry counts and labels only, never the text of your affirmations, your own affirmations or your recordings. They are tied to a random identifier created on your device, never to your name, email or advertising identifier, and are processed by PostHog. They are not used for advertising or sold. Children

SayBright is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, email us and we will look into it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
