SignSnap Privacy Policy

Last updated October 17, 2026

SignSnap is a document signing app made by Graysmith Labs LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, and your documents and signatures stay on your phone.

What stays on your device

The documents you scan or import, the signatures and initials you create, and the signed PDFs you make are processed and stored only on your device. We do not run servers that receive them, and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them. A document leaves your phone only when you choose to share it, through the share sheet, to the app or person you pick.

Camera, photos and files

SignSnap uses the camera to scan paper documents and to photograph an ink signature, and your photo library or the Files app when you pick an image or PDF to sign. It reads only what you choose, and never uploads it.

Notifications

If you start a free trial, SignSnap schedules a local reminder on your device before the trial ends. It is never sent through our servers.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts and basic device information, and, when an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign, Apple's attribution token. It never receives your documents or signatures. You can read the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Advertising

Free users see ads from Google AdMob, including an optional video ad that unlocks one more signing. SignSnap requests non personalized ads only and does not use your Advertising Identifier for tracking. AdMob may still collect basic device and ad interaction information to serve and measure ads. Premium removes ads. You can read the Google privacy policy.

Usage analytics

SignSnap may send a small number of anonymous usage events, such as finishing onboarding, confirming a signing, sharing a signed document, opening the Premium screen and starting a trial, so we can tell which parts of the app help people. These events carry counts and labels only, never document names, contents or signatures. They are tied to a random identifier created on your device, never to your name, email or advertising identifier, and are processed by PostHog. They are not used for advertising or sold. You can read the PostHog privacy policy.

What we never collect

No name, email address or account is needed. SignSnap does not collect your location and does not access your contacts.

Children

SignSnap does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
