TubTender Privacy Policy

TubTender is a hot tub water care app made by Graysmith Labs LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your tub data stays on your phone.

What stays on your device

Your tub details, test readings, dose plans, shelf products and reminder settings are stored only on your device. We do not run servers that receive this data, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Bottle photos

When you scan a bottle, the camera photo is read on your iPhone with Apple's built in text recognition to find the product and its strength. The photo and its text are not uploaded, shared or kept by TubTender; only the product name and strength you confirm are saved on your device.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are never sent through our servers.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts and basic device information such as the app version and country. It does not receive your tub data. You can read the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Advertising and tracking

TubTender shows no ads and does not track you across apps or websites. If we add ads in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and you will be asked for permission where the law or Apple requires it.

Children

TubTender is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
